Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Bangalore (Primary)
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Automation Framework Design and QA:
- Utilize your 3+ years of experience to design and develop automation frameworks for testing purposes.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality software products are delivered.
- Implement best practices for test automation and ensure scalability and maintainability of the automation framework.
- Agile Environment:
- Apply your experience as a QA Engineer in an agile environment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software increments within agile timelines.
- Test Automation Framework Setup:
- Demonstrate skills and experience in setting up test automation frameworks.
- Identify appropriate tools and technologies for test automation and ensure seamless integration within the existing infrastructure.
- Implement robust test automation strategies to accelerate the testing process and improve overall product quality.
- UI Automation and BDD:
- Leverage your experience and knowledge in working with UI automation frameworks like Selenium.
- An additional advantage would be experience with the Cucumber BDD framework.
- Develop and execute UI automation scripts, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for user interfaces.
- Docker, Git, and CI/CD:
- Possess working knowledge of Docker and Git for effective test environment management and version control.
- Hands-on experience with CI pipelines/tools such as Jenkins and Github to facilitate continuous integration and delivery processes.
- SQL and API Testing:
- Be familiar with writing SQL queries to retrieve and validate data for testing purposes.
- Have experience or exposure to API testing using tools or custom automation solutions.
- Validate the functionality and performance of APIs, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
- Test Planning and Test Case Writing:
- Utilize a minimum of 3 years of experience in creating test plans and writing effective test cases.
- Define comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and collaborate with the team to address any issues or defects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automation framework design and quality assurance.
- Strong experience as a QA Engineer in an agile environment.
- Proficiency in setting up test automation frameworks.
- Solid experience with UI automation frameworks like Selenium.
- Additional experience with the Cucumber BDD framework is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with writing SQL queries.
- Experience in API testing using tools or custom automation.
