Position: Quality Assurance Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive testing of software and mobile applications to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and define test strategies and test plans.
- Conduct manual testing to identify defects, verify functionalities, and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Implement and execute automated testing scripts using industry-standard testing tools.
- Conduct functional testing to validate that the software meets user requirements and business objectives.
- Perform performance testing to assess system responsiveness, scalability, and stability.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the integrity of existing functionalities after changes or enhancements.
- Document and track defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and enhance overall product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to quality assurance and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a minimum of (X) years of experience.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in mobile app testing, automated testing, manual testing, functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Knowledge of quality assurance outsourcing practices and strategies.
