- Real Manual QA Experience:
- Conduct manual testing on software applications to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies.
- Create test cases, test scenarios, and test data to execute comprehensive testing.
- Java/Selenium Programming and Associated Frameworks:
- Utilize Java and Selenium programming languages to build and execute automated test scripts.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to provide QA insights and contribute to process improvements.
- Automation Framework Implementation:
- Apply knowledge of automation testing to design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks.
- Enhance existing automation frameworks to cover new test scenarios and functionalities.
- BigBlueButton Knowledge (Optional):
- Familiarity with BigBlueButton, an open-source web conferencing system, will be considered a valuable asset.
- Ability to test and validate the functionality of BigBlueButton within the context of our products.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
- Perform meticulous testing, ensuring all possible scenarios are explored and documented.
- Identify, log, and track defects in our bug tracking system, providing clear and concise details.
- Communication Skills:
- Possess above-average communication skills to effectively convey test results, issues, and progress to team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve communication and information sharing within the QA team.
- Build/Deployment Automation and Continuous Integration:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of build/deployment automation and continuous integration processes.
- Participate in continuous integration efforts to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Test Automation Framework Development:
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Continuously improve automation scripts to keep pace with evolving product features.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2+ years of experience in QA Testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in Java and Selenium programming languages and their associated frameworks.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks implementation and maintenance.
- Optional familiarity with BigBlueButton is a plus point.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test execution and defect reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of build/deployment automation and continuous integration concepts.
- Proven hands-on experience in developing test automation scripts and frameworks.
