Position Overview:
Thinkitive Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated QA (Manual Testing) professional to join our dynamic team in Pune. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include performing manual testing, creating test cases and test scenarios, and contributing to the overall improvement of our software development processes.

- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Test Case Development: Create comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Test Scenario Design: Develop test scenarios that cover various aspects of the software, including functionality, usability, and performance.
- SDLC and STLC: Understand and apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles to ensure effective testing and quality assurance.
- Agile Methodology: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work within an Agile development environment to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of software.
- Defect Reporting: Identify and report defects accurately, providing detailed information to facilitate efficient defect resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software changes and ensure that existing functionality remains intact.
- API Testing (Good to Have): Familiarity with API testing principles and tools would be a valuable asset.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a software development or IT services environment.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in creating test cases and test scenarios.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of API testing (optional but a plus).
