Job Description

QA Lead

• Sound experience in creating an automation framework for more than one application types – Web, Mobile, API etc.
• Good Experience in various automation approaches in framework building like POM, TDD, BDD, Builder Patterns.
• Develop Automation using (Cucumber, Selenium, using .NET) and generate reports for different applications and systems based on technical analysis, complexity, and reusability!
• Solution design for platform specific automation solutions.
• Good understanding of the working of the REST API, hands-on experience in API testing using POSTMAN, Swagger and/or RestSharp,
• Hands-on experience on a relational database (like SQL Server or MySQL). Understanding of the working of non-relational databases would be a plus.
• Experienced in API automation testing using open-source tools and able to create an automation framework to reduce the manual test effort.
• Sound experience in designing and creating test automation scripts.
• Able to troubleshoot errors and streamline the testing process.
• Proficient in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using selenium, TestNG, Maven/Gradle, GitHub/Bitbucket/Team city etc.
• Should have strong hands-on experience with scripting languages&tools for UI and API testing automation – Selenium + Karate Framework OR Selenium + Robot Framework OR Selenium + Cucumber/BDD.
• Well-versed in more than one programming languages – Core Java, Python, C# or Groovy.
• Experienced in QA management/CI tools using Jira/Jenkins.
• Contribute to the continuous upliftment of technical capabilities to support more efficient QA methodologies and accelerated project deliveries.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to shape the QA automation strategy.
• Analyze the platform/solution to check the feasibility for QA automation.
• Work closely with the Insight QA team to guide them and nurture their QA skills, particularly on the automation side.
• Analyze the current state of testing on a specific platform and identify opportunities for automation.
• Work with the stakeholders to define platform-specific automation processes and framework, with an intention to fill the gaps between the current process and the industry standard best practices and pilot the same on selected teams/projects.
• Validate the service level&the quality of automation testing deliverables on a variety of technology platforms.
• Ensure that the quality of the product&the QA deliverables confirm to the industry standards and guidelines, while meeting business requirements

Key Skills

• Must have Good Experience in Software testing and exposer to complete STLC.
• Ensure that the quality of the product&the QA deliverables meet industry standards and guidelines, while meeting business requirements.
• Must have experience in C#, JAVA, Python, JAVA Script, SQL/ PL SQL (At least any 2 Languages with Java Script)
• AZURE DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline Mandatory
• Git, Selenium, CYPRESS, JMETER, SoapUI, Blez Meter (Must have expertise in Functional and API automation)
