Position: QA Engineer – Team Lead

As a QA Engineer – Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure the successful completion of software testing projects.
- Design and implement effective test strategies, test plans, and test cases for various software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to define and validate requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Identify and report software defects, track and verify their resolution.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to quality assurance and testing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the QA processes and enhance overall product quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge and experience in API testing using tools like Postman.
- Proficient in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
