Key Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer at Synergytop, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Manual and Automation Testing: Execute both manual and automation testing to assess the functionality, performance, and overall quality of software applications.
  2. Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet or exceed established quality standards and are free from defects.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and objectives.
  4. Test Planning: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to systematically test software features and functionality.
  5. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and anomalies in a clear and organized manner.
  6. Test Automation: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
  7. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing software functionality.
  8. Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data to support testing efforts and ensure data accuracy and privacy compliance.
  9. Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments that accurately mimic real-world conditions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in Quality Assurance and software testing, with 2.5 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, test case design, and test execution.
  4. Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
  5. Familiarity with industry-standard testing and defect tracking tools.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams.
  8. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative work environment.
