Job Overview: As a QA Engineer at Expand My Business, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for writing and executing test cases, troubleshooting defects, and working with defect management tools such as Jira and Confluence. We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test cases.
• Execute test cases to verify software functionality, identify defects, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Document test results, defects, and testing progress for effective reporting and tracking.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot critical defects in software coding.
• Utilize defect management tools like Jira and Confluence to track and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, including writing and executing test cases.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with defect management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting critical defects in software coding.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
