Position Overview: As a QA Engineer at Hexaware Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will drive the successful execution of our testing processes, contributing to the enhancement of our products’ overall user experience.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user stories, and application behavior.
- Apply your expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure thorough test coverage and quality assurance.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software meets quality standards.
- Automate test scenarios using appropriate testing frameworks and tools, enhancing testing efficiency.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites, analyze test results, and report issues effectively.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to troubleshoot and diagnose defects, and verify fixes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting enhancements to testing methodologies and processes.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the growth and skill development of the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3.5 to 12 years of experience in QA Engineering, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and verifying fixes.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java or Python for automation scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile development processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to report defects, testing progress, and results.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and priorities effectively.
