Position: QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop effective test strategies.
- Design and execute test plans and test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects, ensure adherence to specifications, and validate user requirements.
- Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to address issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile Scrum meetings, providing input on testing efforts and collaborating with team members to meet project milestones.
- Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA or testing environment, preferably in a software development company.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in creating test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases.
- Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology and familiarity with the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate issues and recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
