- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and functionality.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software meets quality standards and functional specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and provide valuable insights.
- Validate API endpoints and interactions to ensure data accuracy and seamless communication between software components.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices within the QA team.
- Collaborate with QA leads and managers to ensure project milestones are met and quality goals are achieved.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 2 to 4 years as a QA Manual Tester or similar role in an IT service-based organization.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices.
- Familiarity with various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report defects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing results clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for ensuring software quality.
- Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.
