Job Overview: As a QA Engineer at Gameberry Labs, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our games. You will be responsible for identifying and reporting bugs, as well as collaborating with the development team to isolate and reproduce issues. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality gaming experiences will contribute directly to the success of our games and the satisfaction of our players.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and artists, to understand game features and functionality.
- Participate in the creation and execution of test plans and test cases to validate game functionality, performance, and stability.
- Thoroughly test new and existing games to identify and document bugs and issues using established testing methodologies and tools.
- Utilize a variety of testing techniques to uncover bugs, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Isolate and reproduce bugs, providing clear and detailed steps for developers to replicate and resolve issues.
- Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified bugs, including retesting after fixes have been implemented.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of test cases, bugs, and test results for reference and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices to enhance the overall quality of our games.
- Participate in the analysis of player feedback to identify potential issues and suggest improvements to enhance the gaming experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in the gaming industry, with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Enthusiasm for gaming and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences to players.
