Job Summary:
As a QA Engineer at Desynova Digital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with our development team, understanding project requirements, and executing comprehensive testing processes. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to delivering high-quality software will contribute directly to our mission of creating exceptional digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, features, and functionalities.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases to ensure that software products meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform manual testing, focusing on critical aspects such as functionality, usability, and overall user experience.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that previously identified defects have been successfully addressed.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Continuously enhance and refine testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed and organized test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and feedback on product quality and potential improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test cases for both functional and non-functional testing.
- Proficient in manual testing techniques and tools, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and defect tracking.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for staying current with industry trends and continuous learning.
