Job Summary: As a QA Engineer at Airtel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Airtel XStream products, particularly set-top boxes and Android devices. You will be involved in both the development of next-generation XStream devices and the enhancement of existing in-market devices. This is a high-visibility position with a focus on delivering premium products to our customers.

- Collaborate closely with device product management to define, develop, validate, and launch new Airtel XStream devices.
- Work on the refresh and improvement of in-market devices in collaboration with Wynk and other engineering teams.
- Write and define test cases and test setups for both functional and non-functional testing, including KPI measurement and system stability.
- Conduct manual testing and explore opportunities for test automation.
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus by prioritizing product quality from a customer’s perspective.
- Participate in testing Android applications and/or devices.
Required Skills:
- Experience with testing set-top boxes and/or Android devices. Experience in testing Android set-top boxes is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and defining test cases for functional and non-functional testing, including KPI measurement and system stability.
- Good understanding of the set-top box domain (CAS, DVB) and/or experience in Android testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
