Position: QA Engineer
Location: Pune (Onsite)
Notice Period: Immediate joiners (15 Days)
Job Description: In this role as a QA Engineer, you will work with the team to evaluate the products and APIs created by the development team and other departments to ensure the quality and reliability of the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Review functional requirement documentation and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Participate in the QA function of the web platforms, including Systems and Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Performance and Load Testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Good experience in web applications and API testing.
- Solid understanding of the test process, including requirement analysis, test scenario design, writing test cases, test data preparation and test execution, defect tracking, and reporting results.
- Comfortable in understanding and writing non-trivial SQL queries. Understanding of RDBMS concepts such as entity relationships, constraints, indexes, triggers, etc.
- Need to have good exposure to different types of testing like web application testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Experience with test case and bug management tools.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines individually or as a team.
- Knowledge of Unix commands.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
