Position: QA Engineer
Location: Bangalore | Mumbai | Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance testing of software applications to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and scalability problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand system requirements and design appropriate performance testing strategies.
- Develop and execute performance test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure the reliability and stability of the software.
- Monitor and analyze performance test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose optimization solutions.
- Generate comprehensive performance test reports and communicate findings to the development team and stakeholders.
- Continuously improve performance testing methodologies and processes to ensure efficient and effective testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve performance-related issues and provide recommendations for performance optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in performance testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience in performance testing, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.
- Proficient in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with various performance testing techniques, including performance profiling, performance monitoring, and benchmarking.
- Experience in analyzing system performance using performance monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based performance testing and performance testing in a microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
- Experience with performance testing of web applications, APIs, and databases.
- Relevant certifications in performance testing or quality assurance.
