Job Responsibilities:
As a QA Tester at OTS Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
- Selenium Testing: Utilize your hands-on experience in Selenium with Java to develop and execute automated test scripts. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, define test cases, and design test scenarios. Develop and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools. Clearly document test results, provide detailed defect reports, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues effectively.
- Test Automation Framework: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java. Continuously enhance test scripts, improve test coverage, and streamline the testing process.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensure that test artifacts are up-to-date and easily accessible for reference.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure a smooth testing process. Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and test results.
Mandatory Skills:
To be considered for the role of QA Tester at OTS Solutions, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience: Possess 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on Selenium and Java. Prior experience with automation testing is essential.
- Selenium with Java: Demonstrate strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver using Java. Have a solid understanding of various Selenium testing techniques and best practices.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. Be able to analyze complex software functionalities and identify potential issues.
- Communication Skills: Have good verbal and written communication skills. Effectively communicate test results, issues, and progress to team members and stakeholders.
