Position: QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts, to understand software requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify and report defects, ensuring the highest level of software quality.
- Conduct manual testing when necessary to supplement automation efforts and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Continuously improve and enhance the existing automation framework, incorporating new technologies and best practices.
- Work closely with the development team to promote the importance of automated testing and assist in the adoption of test automation tools and practices.
- Collaborate with QA team members to develop and implement effective testing strategies and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved and retested in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle by suggesting process enhancements and quality initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in QA automation and software testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git to manage test scripts and test data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
