We are seeking a Python ETL Testing Specialist to join our team. As a Python ETL Testing Specialist at Happiest Minds Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Your responsibilities will include designing test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of our data pipelines.

- Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand ETL requirements and processes.
- Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL testing.
- Execute test cases to validate data transformation, data quality, and integration.
- Identify and document defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of ETL processes.
- Automate testing processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements and technical designs.
- Monitor and maintain test environments to replicate production conditions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ETL testing with a strong focus on Python.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for ETL testing and automation.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration.
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and querying.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
