We are currently seeking a Python Automation Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems testing to join our team in Bangalore.
Job Description: As a Python Automation Engineer at Cientra, you will play a crucial role in testing embedded software/firmware and ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for writing test cases, performing manual testing of GUI applications, and implementing test automation using Python. If you are passionate about embedded systems testing, possess strong Python programming skills, and have experience in automation testing, we encourage you to apply for this position.

- Test embedded software/firmware to ensure functionality and performance.
- Design and write test cases for embedded software, covering various test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing of GUI applications to verify the user interface and user experience.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics and Communication (EC) or Computer Science (CS).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in testing embedded systems, with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation and scripting.
- Experience in working with Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Ability to attend a face-to-face interview on 29th July 2023 at Bangalore location.
