Auropro is currently seeking an experienced Performance Testing Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Performance Testing Engineer with 5+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of web applications, particularly in the context of a trading platform. - Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing of web applications, with a specific focus on a trading platform. Determine the system’s ability to handle a moderate load of approximately 2,000 users and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize performance testing tools, with a preference for experience in JMeter, to design, execute, and analyze performance tests.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve performance-related issues. Provide recommendations for system optimization and scalability improvements.
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies for performance testing, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated performance tests to evaluate the application’s responsiveness, throughput, and stability.
- Trading Platform Expertise: Leverage your background and expertise in trading platforms to understand the specific requirements and challenges related to trading applications.
- Defect Identification: Identify, document, and prioritize performance-related defects, and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure performance testing aligns with project requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and performance test scripts.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in performance testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in performance testing of web applications.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools, with a preference for JMeter experience.
- Strong background in trading platforms and trading applications.
- Experience in both manual and automation testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven experience in optimizing system performance and scalability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
