Position: Oracle Application Tester – Functional Tester
Notice Period: Immediate
Location: Bangalore, Noida, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test designs, and test cases for Oracle applications.
- Validate and verify the functionality, usability, and performance of Oracle applications.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Utilize automation frameworks and tools to design and implement automated test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing on various platforms such as web, desktop, cloud, and mobile.
- Conduct database testing and demonstrate a good knowledge of database and SQL.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in testing, test automation, and test management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements:
Mandatory:
- 5-7 years of experience in testing, test automation, and test management processes.
- Good understanding of test plan, test design, and their applicability.
- Experience in testing/validation on major projects using Oracle applications such as Oracle SaaS, Apex, VBCS, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Forms.
- Creative and agile problem-solving skills.
- Strong awareness of the differences between cloud and on-premise solutions and their impact on test approaches.
- Hands-on experience in one or more automation frameworks, hybrid automation frameworks, data-driven, etc., for platforms like web, desktop, cloud, mobile, etc.
- Good knowledge of database and SQL.
- Fluent in English.
Desired:
- Hands-on experience in one or more automation tools such as WDIO, Selenium, Specflow, Cucumber, JBehave, Rational Integration Tester, SOAP UI, REST-Assured, UFT, SonarQube, etc.
- Automation experience on cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Bamboo, JIRA, Jenkins, Concourse, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet, Ansible, Maven.
