Position: QA Engineer (Manual+Automation)
Responsibilities:
Techbit Solution is currently hiring for the position of QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing. We are seeking a qualified candidate who is a graduate with excellent communication skills and possesses expertise in manual testing of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should also have proficiency in MS-SQL to handle complex database queries. Experience in creating test plans, executing testing plans, and working with Agile and Scrum methodologies is required. Additionally, experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Web Drivers, and programming languages like C# or Java is essential. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
- Utilize MS-SQL to read and write complex queries for database testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify test cases.
- Implement Agile and Scrum methodologies for efficient testing processes.
- Conduct automation testing of web applications using Selenium, Web Drivers, and programming languages like C# or Java.
- Report defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software testing.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, if required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in MS-SQL for database testing.
- Ability to create test plans and execute them effectively.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in automation testing using Selenium, Web Drivers, and programming languages like C# or Java.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
