Position: Manual Tester
Location: Mohali Phase 8B, Sector 74
CQLsys Technologies is urgently hiring for the position of Manual Tester. We are seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing, specifically in the field of ALM, CA LISA, and CA MIA. If you have the required skills and experience, we invite you to apply for this opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Develop and execute test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather testing requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in test plan reviews and provide input for improvement.
- Follow established testing methodologies and processes.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), CA LISA, and CA MIA tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create comprehensive test cases and execute them effectively.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools for defect reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow test plans and specifications.
