As a Manual Testing Engineer at PeriSync Technologies, you will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the excellence and functionality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough and comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and other issues.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.
- Designing, writing, and reviewing detailed test cases and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
- Executing manual test cases and documenting test results systematically and accurately.
- Performing Functional Testing to ensure that the software meets functional specifications and requirements.
- Conducting System Integration Testing to verify the interoperability of different components and systems within the software.
- Participating in the testing of End-to-End Business Flow to validate the software’s performance across various business processes.
- Utilizing industry-standard test management tools, such as JIRA, for defect logging, tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborating with the development team to troubleshoot, isolate, and report defects, and then verify their resolution.
- Providing timely and comprehensive feedback to project stakeholders, including status updates and quality assessment reports.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the testing lifecycle and contributing to the enhancement of testing methodologies.
- Staying up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in manual testing techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Manual Testing.
- Solid expertise in Functional Testing and System Integration Testing.
- Proven experience in testing applications for End-to-End Business Flow.
- Proficiency in using test management tools, with a strong preference for experience with JIRA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to methodically identify, reproduce, and isolate defects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
