Position: Manual Testing
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Manual Tester to join our team. The Manual Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through comprehensive manual testing. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing and possess strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Write test cases based on UX Design and Architecture diagrams.
- Ensure that test cases follow the given-when-then format for clarity and consistency.
- Test the application against business requirements to ensure compliance.
- Perform manual testing to identify defects and issues in the software.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and ensure timely bug resolution.
- Document test results, track defects, and report findings to the project team.
- Participate in team meetings to provide updates on testing progress and discuss any challenges or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall quality of the software.
- Work as a team player, actively participating in discussions and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of writing test cases based on UX Design and Architecture diagrams.
- Familiarity with the given-when-then format for test case documentation.
- Ability to test the application against business requirements and ensure compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
