As a Manual Tester at TrackDfect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive testing procedures to identify defects, ensure functionality, and enhance user experiences. Your attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results will be instrumental in meeting our clients’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and software specifications.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify and document defects using established bug tracking systems.
- Perform regression testing to verify the effectiveness of bug fixes and enhancements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation and processes.
- Execute manual testing across various platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Validate that software meets predefined acceptance criteria and business requirements.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve overall product quality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful resolution of reported issues.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester, with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in creating and executing comprehensive test cases.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify, document, and communicate defects effectively.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Familiarity with different software testing techniques and methodologies.
