Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases to validate the functionality and usability of web and windows applications.
  • Utilize your knowledge of database testing to ensure data integrity and verify the accuracy of data interactions.
  • Perform testing across various stages of product development, including feature testing, regression testing, and compatibility testing.
  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues through rigorous testing and detailed analysis.
  • Utilize SQL to perform data validation and verification during testing activities.
  • Follow established testing processes to ensure thorough test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and isolate issues for effective resolution.
  • Provide clear and concise test reports, communicating test results, progress, and potential risks to project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process by suggesting enhancements and process optimizations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester, with a strong background in testing web and windows applications.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of database testing techniques to validate data integrity and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and communicate defects effectively.
  • Knowledge of SQL to perform data validation and verification during testing.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
