Job Summary:
Testhouse India Pvt Ltd is seeking an adept Manual Test Lead with 5 to 7 years of experience to lead and manage manual testing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in SQL and Database Management Systems (DBMS) and will demonstrate exceptional people and project management skills. With excellent communication abilities, the Manual Test Lead will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the successful delivery of software testing projects.

- Lead and manage manual testing efforts within the Retail or Property Management domain, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
- Utilize hands-on experience with SQL and Query Surge to conduct effective database testing and validation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and modifying SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
- Employ hands-on experience in Database Management Systems (DBMS) to ensure the efficient handling of data during testing.
- Conduct requirement analysis based on Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and other key project documents.
- Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage and accurate validation.
- Execute manual testing activities, including A/B testing, screen resolution testing, and cross-browser/OS combination testing.
- Utilize Defect Management Tools such as JIRA or Microsoft Azure to track, document, and manage defects throughout the testing process.
- Engage in defect triage call ownership, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and address identified defects.
- Contribute to dashboard preparation, providing meaningful insights into testing progress and results.
- Provide go-live support and assist in the smooth transition of software products to production.
- Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Query Surge.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and modifying SQL queries.
- Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Familiarity with Retail or Property Management domain (preferred).
- Experience with Defect Management Tools such as JIRA or Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to perform A/B testing, screen resolution testing, and cross-browser/OS combination testing.
