Position: Manual Test Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad (Work From Office)
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days
Tech Mahindra, a leading global technology solutions provider, is seeking talented Manual Test Engineers to join our team in Ahmedabad. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our social media applications through rigorous manual testing. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 1 to 5 years of experience in manual testing, who are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of social media applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project specifications and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and track issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Conduct system and integration testing to ensure seamless functioning of social media applications.
- Verify software functionalities and performance against documented requirements.
- Participate in test result analysis and provide feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely resolution of issues.
- Document test results, create test reports, and maintain test documentation.
- Continuously enhance and update testing methodologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in manual testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech) with a focus on Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Test Engineer or a similar role, with 1 to 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their functionalities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using defect tracking tools to log and track issues.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
