Required Technical and Professional Expertise –
- Good understanding of software quality assurance in the Agile development model.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
- Work closely with the development team to improve existing products
- Sharp attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
- Based on requirements received, should be in a position to write test cases independently.
- Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
- Investigate customer complaints and product issues.
- Document all testing strategies and track QA Metrics.
- Knowledge in SQL and Linux/Unix is preferred.
