As part of our expansion in Gurgaon, we are currently looking for experienced and skilled Manual QA professionals to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: As a Manual QA at FNZ Gurgaon, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our wealth management and investment platform solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to perform comprehensive manual testing and, if applicable, automation testing to identify, document, and resolve defects and issues. We are seeking candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing, with a location preference for candidates currently residing in the NCR region. To be eligible for this position, candidates should not have switched jobs in the last 2 years and should not have applied to FNZ previously.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough manual testing of web-based applications, APIs, and other software components to identify and document defects and inconsistencies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  3. Execute test cases and test scripts to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software solutions.
  4. Log and prioritize defects using issue tracking systems and work closely with the development team to ensure prompt resolution.
  5. Participate in test planning, test strategy, and test estimation activities to ensure effective test coverage.
  6. Collaborate with automation engineers, if applicable, to enhance the efficiency and coverage of testing efforts through automated test scripts.
  7. Provide timely and accurate test status reports and participate in project status meetings to update stakeholders on testing progress.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging testing trends to continually improve testing processes and methodologies.
  9. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and team productivity.
  10. Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of testing tasks and delivering high-quality results.
  11. Contribute to the knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience of 2 to 6 years in manual and/or automation testing in a software development or FinTech environment.
  3. Strong understanding of software testing concepts, test methodologies, and best practices.
  4. Familiarity with web-based applications, APIs, and databases.
  5. Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect management using testing tools and issue tracking systems.
  6. Working knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  8. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  9. Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing tasks.
  10. Location preference for candidates currently based in the NCR region.
