Position: Manual QA Engineer
Location: Indore
AM Webtech Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Indore. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. If you have a strong background in manual testing, familiarity with API testing, and expertise in project management and bug-tracking tools, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and issues.
- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure the software meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Report and track bugs using project management and bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, and Mentis.
- Participate in the Agile software development process and adhere to the SDLC and bug life cycle.
- Generate comprehensive test documentation, including bug reports, test closures, test cases, and test plans.
- Work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Hands-on experience with project management and bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, and Mentis.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, SDLC, and bug life cycle.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and other test documentation.
- Experience in testing software applications for both web and mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with API testing and understanding of API concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate software defects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines.
