Job Description
- Good experience in Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala and shell scripting.
- Development of big data applications using Scala.
- Proficiency with Hadoop ecosystem tools & technologies like Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, HBase, Phoenix, Spark
- Experience in Java.
- Should be able to write optimized Hadoop Jobs
- Working experience in SQL
- Hands on experience in backend programming particularly Scala is mandatory
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and Implementation of these skills in Big Data domain
- Understanding of data loading tools such as Flume, Sqoop
- Good knowledge of database principles practices structures.
- Good Knowledge in CI RA and tools like Jenkins.
- Has done development or debugging on Linux/ Unix platforms.
- Data Warehousing, Data Mart and Data Engineering experience is a plus
- Design and develop ETL mappings and workflows.
