As a Loan Management System Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and performance of loan management software systems within the banking domain. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of testing activities, including:
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand loan management system requirements and specifications.
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive manual test plans and test cases specifically tailored for Loan Management Systems.
- Conducting thorough testing of loan management processes, functionalities, and workflows to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Employing your deep domain knowledge in the banking sector to validate the loan management system’s compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Documenting and communicating test results, defects, and issues to the relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve defects, and verifying their successful resolution.
- Contributing to the enhancement and automation of testing processes, methodologies, and tools for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on Loan Management Systems within the Banking domain.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, and execution.
- In-depth knowledge of Loan Management Systems and their functionalities within the Banking sector.
- Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing results.
- A commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with testing tools and techniques for Loan Management Systems, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
