AppViewX is looking for dynamic and talented Lead/Senior QA Test Engineers with 3 to 6 years of experience in manual testing and API testing, including proficiency in Rest Assured API testing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. - Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- API Testing: Perform API testing to validate the functionality and performance of APIs integral to our applications.
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and meticulously document defects with clear steps to reproduce and detailed information for developers.
- Defect Management: Monitor and manage defects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Automation: Leverage your expertise in Rest Assured API testing to contribute to test automation efforts and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in manual testing and API testing.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Rest Assured API testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Immediate availability or a short notice period preferred.
