Position: Jr. Tester/Lead
Location: Pune
Source Right, a leading technology company in the automotive domain, is seeking a skilled Jr. Tester/Lead to join our team in Pune. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 2-8 years of experience in infotainment testing and automotive domain to contribute to our projects and ensure the quality and functionality of our automotive infotainment solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct infotainment testing activities to ensure the functionality, performance, and validation of automotive infotainment systems.
- Analyze customer requirements and prepare test plans accordingly.
- Execute test cases and review test results, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Handle a team of testers and provide regular status updates to the customer on a weekly basis.
- Lead the full defect life cycle in software testing, including integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, blackbox testing, and sanity testing.
- Analyze requirements and create test plans and test cases for various infotainment features such as camera, sonar, navigation, audio, HVAC, HMI, etc.
- Perform root cause analysis of bugs and engage in discussions with different stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Conduct manual testing for various infotainment features, ensuring their proper functioning and adherence to customer requirements.
- Execute test cases, report bugs, reproduce bugs, verify bug fixes, and close bugs.
- Collaborate with clients across the globe, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Utilize MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access Database, and MS Project, for documentation and project management.
- Familiarity with VB Scripting for macro development.
- Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills, being a self-starter, quick learner, and effective team player.
Requirements:
- 2-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on infotainment testing in the automotive domain.
- Strong knowledge and experience in customer requirement analysis, test plan preparation, execution, and review.
- Experience in leading and managing a team of testers.
- Full defect life cycle experience in software testing, including integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, blackbox testing, and sanity testing.
- Proficiency in analyzing requirements and creating test plans and test cases for various infotainment features.
- Experience in root cause analysis of bugs and discussions with stakeholders for issue resolution.
- Good experience in manual testing for various infotainment features.
- Hands-on experience with test execution, bug reporting, bug reproduction, bug fix verification, and bug closure.
- Experience in dealing with clients across the globe, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access Database, and MS Project.
- Familiarity with VB Scripting for macro development is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter, quick learner, and effective team player.
