Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Pune
Notice Period - Immediate to 30 Days
Qualification: Any engineering degree or above
Experience: 3 to 7 years
Position - Job Description
- Understanding the feature from the functional specification and derive a topology and test plan
- Estimate the efforts for testing and plan the testing and anticipate the risk factors
- Execute the test cases, and update the results in the test tracking tool.
- Debug the issue, file the defects and track the issue to closure with the verification
- Ability to draw the attention of the stake holders to get the critical issues resolved on time to meet the testing timelines
- Complete the testing and share the feature test report on time
- Understand the customer case and recreate the CFD in the lab
- Help customers with the features/configuration related query.
Work From Home Software Testing Jobs
Skill sets
- Test planning / execution for a product feature / functionality (8+ years of experience)
- Strong debugging / troubleshooting skills are required
- Good knowledge of one or more LAN/WAN protocols such as (Ethernet, MPLS, OSPF, BGP etc).
- Solid foundation in TCP/IP protocol
- Working Experience with Linux, Traffic generators and packet capture tools
- Familiarity with network provisioning and management tools including: DHCP servers, DNS Servers, TFTP Servers, Syslog servers, SNMP Management servers.
- Good to have – Automation skills and experience using Python
- Expectation from Candidates – Manual testing, feature testing, system and integration testing, Scale and Performance testing and customer case recreation in lab
