Position: Test Engineer

Location: Bengaluru East, Karnataka, India

About the job

Job Description:

Participate in software product development, bringing a testing and broader quality lens to requirements and design.
Contribute to feature estimates and ensure that required testing is clearly articulated in the definition of done.
Perform static test reviews of the business requirements or user stories and develop test conditions.
Build and maintain well-engineered automated tests across the testing phases for both functional and non-functional concerns.
Integrate tests into build/deployment pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery.
Utilise test doubles and virtualised services to facilitate modularisation and efficiency without compromising coverage.
Perform manual test activities such as exploratory testing, usability testing, and acceptance testing throughout the delivery process.
Participate in the Quality Engineering and Testing practice through brown bag lunches, demonstrations etc.

Requirements:

Test Engineer with the following Tech skills
Python, SQL, Linux (or other flavour of Unix)
Desirable to have – Ab-Initio, JIRA

Testing skills

Test automation & script maintenance, Test Planning, Test Documentation, Defect Tracking
Desirable to have – CI/CD exposure, Working with large datasets.

Domain skills

Knowledge of capital Markets trading
General understanding of Interest rate, FX and commodity products
Good understanding of Market risk measures like sensitivities(greeks), VaR and Macro stress
Exposure to regulatory capital & market risk reporting
