Job Description

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred but not required
• MUST have at least 10+ years of Oracle Application implementation experience with Oracle Inventory, very strong in Order Management and Shipping.
• MUST have at least 2 years of experience with QAD’s Precision/TRAX TMS application.
• MUST have basic Oracle Application related technical skills; must have knowledge of Oracle Applications tables and TOAD or other SQL tools
• Desire to work in a team-based environment; must be able to take project direction and provide strategic input when needed.
• High degree of adaptability.
• Incumbent will be faced with a variety of issues on a day-to-day basis and will be expected to respond to these issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Detail oriented; Results driven; Must be able excel in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• MUST have strong communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills with international users.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test Oracle Applications R12 e-Business Suite: Oracle Inventory, Order Management and Shipping.
• Leads the gathering of business requirements as they relate to the rollout and support of the Oracle ERP software.
• Configure and test QAD’s Precision transportation software (both WIN-UI and Web-UI).
• Develops and documents data conversion specifications.
• Assists with data conversion validation.
• Develops and documents detailed program specifications, business process models and scenarios.
• Determines the technical, interfacing and operational requirements to resolve ERP and TMS software issues.
• Leads the software testing, end user training and solution rollout.
• Leads the configuration and administration of the ERP and TMS software as per business and technical requirements.
• Participates in post-production software support and problem resolution.
• Ensure project activities are executed in accordance with defined processes and methodology
• Other duties as assigned by management
