The QA Automation Tester is responsible for testing new features, verifying bug fixes, working with the Product Management and Software Development teams to release quality, bug-free updates. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of projects..
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to design and execute integration and regression tests on software releases.
- Manage the test and release process for all production software (field systems and backend)
- Handle production queries which involves technical understanding of the product and processes
- Review Technical Documentation – Test case, Test Plan, Matrixes and Reporting.
- Maintaining test users, test data, and test environments in the staging and production servers
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Experience in building and managing Best Practices, Adapt new Processes/Quality Management tools.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, who is calm and decisive under pressure.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3-7 years- experience with QA Automation
- Intermediate level of experience writing SQL Queries
- Strong java Programming skills are required.
- Strong experience with using Selenium WebDriver framework, BDD, POM (Page object Model), Appium
- Very strong Analytical skills
- Experience with Automation Framework is highly desirable.
- Assist others in testing areas of the application
- Experience with Appium (Selenium WebDriver with Java)
- Complete work successfully within allotted timeframes (schedule hours)
- Experience with QA testing tools. Jenkins and Jira/ALM preferred
- Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium Web Driver with Java)
- Experience in API automation testing Knowledge in CI/CD processes and tools preferably Jenkins.
- Experience with Agile development methodology is preferred
