About the job:
Monitors every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards. A software quality assurance engineer helps meet deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and team leaders. Testing database code and scripts
We’re looking for QA Manual to participate in the development of the Database Team.
Responsibilities:
- Compiling checklists
- Performing manual testing
- Preparing reports on test results
- Training and managing the work of junior teammates
- Monitoring the completeness of the testing
- Participating in the formation of automated testing processes in the database
- Analyzing and discussing requirements for incoming tasks
Your experience and mindset:
At least 5 years experience in finance/banking/acquiring industry
IT degree (Computer science/engineering, System Analysis, Information Systems, IT management)
English (Fluent or native)
Requirements:
- Experience in QA role (frontend / backend) from 5 years
- Knowledge of the basics of testing theory (types of testing, testing methods)
- Practical test design skills
- Experience in testing web applications (backend) and databases (Oracle)
- Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Knowledge of REST, API testing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills necessary to optimally communicate over the phone with a variety of individuals at all technical levels are required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize domain expertise and leadership in the development and integration of solutions
- Ability to quickly analyze and evaluate scenarios to develop appropriate solutions
- Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions
