Job Description:

The Manual Tester is responsible for writing test cases, perform various types of testing, finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

1. Good understanding of testing methodologies and concepts.
2. Understand requirement and write test case/test scenario and execute them.
3. Create, execute, maintain comprehensive test scenarios for manual testing.
4. Perform various types of testing like functionality testing, content testing, UI testing, sanity testing and browser compatibility.
5. Regression testing.
6. Run manual test scripts and maintaining scripts for the assigned modules.
7. Analyse failed tests and manage defects using the bug reporting tool.
8. Perform preliminary investigation of issues, finding the root cause and report all data captured for an issue so that the resolution is more efficient.
9. Complete understanding of defect life cycle and SDLC/STLC.
10. Excellent communication skills.

Requirements

1. Proven experience with min 6-7 years as a Quality Assurance Tester.
2. Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
3. Knowledge on BDD Framework
4. Working knowledge of test management software JIRA and strong SQL knowledge.
5. Feature file creation, Bug raising and tracking
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Attention to detail.
8. Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
9. Strong organizational skills.
10. Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
