Position: QA Engineer - Manual Testing
Experience: 2 - 8 Years
Location: Chennai
Skills required:
· Expertise in manual and API Testing.
· Hands-on experience of minimum of 2-8 years in QA Role.
· Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software
· Improve the quality, reliability & performance of the system Project Quality and Governance
· Ensure that all test deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope.
· Ensure resources are trained and equipped with the latest tech test trends and test tools
· Resource Management
· Ensure maximum resource availability, utilization and allocation to concurrent projects.
· Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans
· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
· Familiarity with common issue tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
· Good knowledge of database and able to write SQL queries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Understand requirements user stories, system requirements and create corresponding test plans and Test Cases.
· Communicate testing progress, results, and other relevant information to the project team and other stakeholders based on test plans Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software
· Strive to identify area of improvement and work proactively to prevent issues from occurring.
· Track defects, create and maintain testing reports.
