Accountabilities & Essential Functions

  • Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
  • Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
  • Able to Create, Assign, and track the project/module work plans for delivery and also provide the technical guidance for work completion.
  • Ability to plan work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures based on the Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ensure process improvements and compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions or review.
  • Partner with the automation team to develop strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing.
  • Leading the QA team to design and create test conditions, test data and test automation scripts to address business and technical use cases.
  • Experience in Various Testing Phases- Functional, Regression, Integration, User Acceptance and Performance Testing.
  • Ability to recommend and provide QA automation requirements.
  • Ability to Define metrics, create reports, and develop statistics, for organizational reporting and monitoring of quality processes within QA department.
  • Analyze existing QA quality processes and develop new or revised quality standards as needed.
  • Develops and maintains a productive work teams by hiring qualified personnel, training, and managing performance.
  • Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent.
  • Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.
  • Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives.
  • Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments.
  • Flexible to meet the changing needs of the business and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
  • Initiates, establishes and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures, and at all levels.

  • Ability to execute automation scripts and train team members as required.
  • Exposure in automation testing frameworks and tools- Selenium, BDD, pytest, QTP, Robot Framework, JMeter.
  • Knowledge on Python, VB Script, C, Java.
  • Experience of testing REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Understanding of Test Architecture and design.
  • Exposure to working in Agile, DeVops, and Continuous Delivery Environment. Hands on experience on DevOps QA implementation.
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Certification is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will supervise.
  • Including: Internal candidates: Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or a total of 2 years as a highly performing Mouser employee.
  • External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position.
