Job Description

Qualification and Skills

• This position requires a BSEE or equivalent, plus ten or more years of applicable experience, including two or more years in technical support role
• Strong background in computer architectures
• Knowledgeable on software development with C/C++/assembly language
• Familiar with TRACE32 or GNU tools, debug probes, Linux kernel and at least one RTOS
• Experience with development environments such as Linux, Git, Jira and Confluence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to deliver customer training
• Self-starter, fast learner, strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support customers using SiFive IPs and resolve software issues with running simulations, using toolchains, and bringing up firmware/OS
• Responsible for all levels of support and escalation for customer issues, including on-site customer support
• Collaborate with the engineering, marketing, and sales teams to demonstrate SiFive products and values to customers, resolve technical issues, and represent customer needs internally
• Deliver customer trainings
• Improve documentation, write application notes and knowledge-based articles
