Job Description
- Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of software applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Defect Identification: Identify, record, and thoroughly document software defects and anomalies, utilizing appropriate tracking tools and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless testing process.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain and uphold high standards of quality assurance processes, suggesting improvements where necessary to enhance product reliability.
- Documentation: Create detailed and accurate test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports for reference and review.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously developed and tested software still performs after changes have been made.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to convey testing status, issues, and potential solutions.

Qualification and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and strategies.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and across multiple departments.
