Position: Senior Software Engineer – Process Automation

Company Description
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for process automation for Voice Services Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering various compliance-based reports regarding voice, audio conferencing, and recording from various sources. They will ensure that reports are properly run and develop automation scripts to improve the process. They will create dashboards and communicate with risk and compliance team members to validate the accuracy of the data.

Job Description
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
- Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations and policies.
- Develop detailed manual test scripts to validate application functional requirements.
- Design and write formal test plans to address system, integration, and data conversion testing.
- Develop APIs, scripts, automated reports, BOTS, and tools to improve operational efficiency and team member and customer experience.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for automation.
- Implement automation solutions using Python and PowerShell.

Qualification and Skills
- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- At least 4 years of experience in automation engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI development.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
