Job Description

• Mobile Testing Expertise: Utilize your experience to develop and execute test plans and strategies for mobile applications in fintech/crypto, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and security across various platforms
• Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks using industry-standard tools like Selenium, Appium, or equivalent, to ensure efficient and effective testing of software components
• Test Plan Development: Collaborate with the development and QA teams to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects related to security and functionality, employing defect tracking tools and working closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with software developers, security engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align testing strategies, communicate findings, and ensure overall product quality
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, implement best practices, and contribute proactively to enhance testing methodologies and processes

Qualification and Skills

• Work experience in fintech/security-based projects or understanding of the basics of cryptography (encryption / private keys etc)
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing methodologies
• Basic programming skills in one or more programming languages
• Experience with mobile applications and/or web applications on different platforms (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android)
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and software testing concepts (e.g., test design, test types, test levels)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate and report test results and issues to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
