Job Description

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a backend tester.
• Good exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Cloud Native Technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Unix or Linux, including commands and scripting.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Python.
• Database knowledge and experience with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, data sets, and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
• Work closely with software engineers on core projects to ensure that quality is integrated into the development process.
• Support clients by addressing reported issues and assisting with their queries.
• Conduct usability testing to assess total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Effectively communicate testing activities and findings through both oral and written channels.
• Independently manage and control daily test activities.
• Collaborate with the test lead/Manager to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Apply knowledge and experience of quality management methods, tools, and technology to ensure defect-free application software that meets the needs of clients and business partners.
• Possess exposure and experience in other Automation tools like UFT, Quality Center / Jira, and SoapUI Tools (preferred).
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.
